Welcome! I am so glad you are joining us in teaching God's story to the next generation. What a worthy calling we share!

What started as a tap on the shoulder from my pastor has grown into a wonderful tool to equip the next generation. I take no credit, other than I did put down on paper all that the Holy Spirit put on my heart.

The joy that I have experienced sharing these lessons with Kindergarten through 5th graders has become some of the most precious years of my life. To see their faces and watch them grasp biblical doctrine that many adults don't understand reminds me just how great God IS!

Jesus said, let the little children come — because He knew they would come with open hearts and minds. So let them come! And teach them to love the Lord with all their heart and soul and mind and strength. Watch them with awe!

Our Story

Born Out of a Real Need

Our church needed a Wednesday night curriculum that went deeper than memorization. I wanted children to do more than recite verses — I wanted them to learn about God AND understand what His Word actually says.

Compass Kids teaches in a kid-friendly expository style. It is designed to equip and train up children in the way they should go — covering God's beautiful redemption story from Genesis to Revelation.

I like to call it the principle of first soil. Before the world can share its worldview, we have already laid a solid foundation of biblical teaching. Let's equip our children and families to live out Deuteronomy 6 — talking about God at home, on the road, at bedtime, and when they wake up.

More Than Memorization

Compass Kids is a fun way for children from 2 years old through 5th grade to learn the Bible and memorize Scripture — but it goes much further. It teaches children to understand God's Word and apply it to their lives.

Four Years Through God's Word

Each year follows the school calendar — 34 teaching weeks plus a Wrap-Up Celebration Party at the end. Over four years, children journey from Genesis through Revelation, building a connected understanding of God's redemption story.

The Foundation

The Old Testament — Creation, Abraham, Israel's history, and the major and minor prophets who pointed God's people toward the coming Messiah.

Jesus & the Church

The life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus, and the birth and growth of the early Church as the gospel begins to spread.

Paul's epistles to the early churches — letters of encouragement, correction, and deep teaching on how to live out the Christian faith.

How does the pricing work — is it one payment or per year?

Compass Kids is sold one year at a time. Each year is a separate purchase that covers all grades, K through 5th. You buy Year 1, teach it, and come back for Year 2 when you're ready. Pricing is based on the size of your children's ministry — $1,500 (small), $3,000 (medium), or $4,500 (large) per year.

How do I get the curriculum files after I purchase?

When you purchase a year, that year's complete content unlocks in your online content portal. You can download all the booklets, trackers, and lesson plans for every grade. As you add more years, your library grows and stays current with the latest updates.

What happens after we finish all four years?

This is one of the best parts! Your church simply restarts the four-year cycle with your next group of children — and keeps full access to your content library and the latest updates for a low annual licensing fee ($250–$600/year by church size). Buy the curriculum once, then reuse it year after year. It's a sustainable, cost-effective solution for the long term.

How do updates work?

You receive the program as it is at the time of purchase. Updates are released annually — and you receive the latest version whenever you purchase your next year of curriculum or renew your annual license. Staying active keeps your content current.

Can we buy all four years at once?

What age range does Compass Kids cover?

2 years old through 5th grade. The elementary curriculum covers Kindergarten through 5th grade, and a coordinated preschool curriculum (2 years old through Pre-K) is available separately. Every child studies the same biblical truth at a level appropriate for their age — creating one unified learning experience across your whole children's ministry.

Can we use this for Wednesday nights, Sunday school, or both?

Yes to both. Compass Kids was originally created for a Wednesday night program but works equally well for Sunday morning children's church, Sunday school classes, or any weekly children's gathering.

Do we need to start with Year 1?

Ideally yes, since the program is designed to build across four years — but each year also stands alone. A church can begin at any year in the cycle without needing the previous years.

What denominations use Compass Kids?

Compass Kids is designed for Bible-believing churches and can be used across a wide variety of denominational backgrounds.

Does it require trained teachers?

No. The lesson plan document gives every volunteer teacher everything they need — all five grade-level verses, the Compass Point, and space for teaching notes. If you can read, you can teach this curriculum.
